An invitation-only event designed to showcase the nation’s next generation of football talent, the Proving Ground National Combine will be held on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 from 7:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. MST at Chase Field in Phoenix and nationally televised on CBS Sports Network at 1 p.m. MST. Viewers will have a chance to watch 300 of the country’s rising high school juniors compete against the clock in individual skills competitions and show the nation they’ve got what it takes to get to the next level. Special attention will be placed on character, academic performance and attitudes that most reflect the USMC values of honor, courage and commitment throughout the event.
